We now have our premium upgrade link posted. You can now upgrade your forum to a premium account by following the link in your Admin section called “Premium Upgrade”. It’s located on the left nav in the admin section under “BestFreeForums”.
We will be continually be adding extra goodies for premium members so stay tunned.
You guys/girls asked for it you got it! We just added A LOT more smilies for your posting pleasure!
There is now 2,120 smilies to choose from! You will need to add the smilie paks from your admin page.
Under the “General Admin” Section Click “Smilies” Then click “Import Smiley Pak” Then choose which one you want to import.
I must warn you some of these have a lot of smilies in them. Don’t go to overboard or you may slow down your forum!

We just added a mod that allows you to align your text when you are posting on your forums.
You should now see a drop down box with “left”,”right”,”center”, and “justify” options.
This may not work on all skins. This is known to work on subSilver and smartDark. If it doesn’t work on your current skin let us know and we can fix it for you.
A new style “smartDark” has been added to the forums.
It looks pretty nice you should try it out. You will need to login to your admin section and install it using the styles admin.
Many of you may have noticed the ads that started showing up after about the 3rd or 4th post. Most of our forum users were not bothered by this much, although a small handful really didn’t like it. The ads you see on the top and bottom of the forums help us recover our costs that we spend out of pocket for running these free forums. We have decided that we will go ahead and remove the after 3rd or 4th post ads. We want to keep our users happy and we think this is a good way to do it.
Also a few members have requested a way to make their forums ad free. We will be implementing a paid plan real soon to do so. It will probably be something reasonable like $5.00/mo. We will try to bundle it with some extra goodies to give some added value also.
