Karma mod was just installed. Now users can basically vote for other users giving them good or bad “karma”

You can now update your meta tags for keywords and description in your forum admin. It’s located under the General Configuration section under “Meta Tags”
Adding meta tags will help the search engines search and classify your site. This will help bring visitors and new members to your site. Please update your meta tags. We will be putting generic descriptions in for all boards for those who do not update theirs soon.

Ok we just added another mod which I think is pretty neat imho… What it does is displays a welcome box on your index page with the last you were logged in, how many messages you have written, number of new users and other stats. You can also have it suggest topics to people. Anyways I think it’s simple but neat! Enjoy!

We just added some new bbcode that will allow you to embed movie links from youtube.com. You will see a new button when you create a post called “youtube”, you can also write the bbcode out [youtube]youryoutubelink[/youtube]

It seems that we are having problems with subdomains.

We just made a change that makes your forums accessible by going to http://yourforumname.bestfreeforums.com
This will now be the new default for getting to your forum.
You can still access your forum for now by going to:
http://www.bestfreeforums.com/yourforumname.html
Please update your links and notify your members of the new access method.

Signing up our our Free Forum service could not be easier. Just go to http://www.bestfreeforums.com/forums/new_forum.php
Fill out a few fields and click the create forum button. We will send you an email with your new password. Once you recieve the email you can then login to your new forum.

A Similar Topics mod has been added to the forums. At the bottom of a topic you will now see a list of topics that could possibly be related to the one you are viewing. This only works with the subSilver style at the moment. If you would like it to work with a different one please request it through the support forum “support.bestfreeforums.com”
